    The Inner Loop May reading brought a group of fresh, funny and poignant voices to the breezy back patio of Colony Club. Our Writer of the Month is A. Sandosharaj, whose essay "Natural Born Drivers" reflects on the experience of immigrant families and the often painful details of "otherness" in America, from roadside assistance to the Disney dress code.     Last year, we teamed up for the first time with the Woodlawn Estate and Pope Leighey House and Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food & Agriculture to coordinate a pilot writers residency program. We welcomed four area writers for one week at a time throughout the summer. This year, we welcome eight(!) local writers committed to using writing as a means to build community, to bring awareness to critical social and environmental issues, and as a creative force of empowerment.
