    Late March snowstorms didn't put a damper on our third event of The Inner Loop Season IV, which, as always, was a rollicking evening of thoughtful, poignant, and often hilarious local writers. This month's Writer of the Month, Samuel Nelson, embodied all three of those descriptors with his exceptional essay on the male experience at the Women's March. Samuel's opening piece captivated the audience with prose that is observant and humorous while it critiques social injustice.

    Over the past year, The Inner Loop has made it a goal to find ways to collaborate with the broader creative community here in the District, and it has been a blast! In keeping with that trend, we are on the look out for some visual artists... Our third annual special anniversary event will be held on Tuesday, April 25th from 7-10pm and we are seeking a DMV-based visual artist (or artists) interested in displaying his/her work at the reading party.
